Sherbrooke, QC, January 29, 2026 –The Université de Sherbrooke and PwC Canada are proud to highlight the involvement of Nicolas Marcoux, Chief Executive Officer and Senior Partner at PwC Canada, along with 14 other partners who are also graduates of The Université de Sherbrooke, in the Université’s 2022-2028 campaign, Choisir de changer l’avenir (choosing to change the future).

On this special day, Mr. Marcoux and the PwC partners who contributed to the campaign visited their alma mater to meet with members of the Business School community. The Université took this occasion to inaugurate the newly renovated PwC Auditorium, named in recognition of the donations received from PwC partners who are graduates of Université de Sherbrooke’s Business School.

As faculty co-chair and ambassador, Nicolas Marcoux made a planned donation and rallied PwC partners who are UdS graduates to support initiatives such as the Zone d’excellence numérique (ZEN, Digital Excellence Zone), the Financial Markets Room and student success funds. This gesture is a demonstration of their ongoing commitment to their alma mater.

New place to inspire the next generation

As CEO of PwC Canada, Nicolas Marcoux participated in the day’s program, which included a panel discussion with Sonia Boisvert, Partner, Assurance, and Chief People Officer for PwC Canada, and Thomas Prescott, a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting and intern at PwC Canada. This was followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

“We’re proud to collaborate with Université de Sherbrooke to create a place where ideas are born and where the next generation can test their mettle tackling major economic, technological and societal issues. The training that students receive at the Business School provides them with a strong foundation for meeting the challenges of tomorrow. Challenges that will require curiosity, flexibility and a willingness to broaden their knowledge, with an eye to innovating and finding solutions to the issues facing our society. The PwC Auditorium reflects our commitment to the Business School, which, through its innovative approach to education, is training the leaders of tomorrow.”
