Walter Rondina is a Partner in PwC Canada’s Financial Services Consulting practice with more than 20 years of experience serving financial institutions across: Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Pensions, Private Equity and Real Estate. Walter is based in Montreal and leads the Financial Services Consulting practice in Quebec where he has acted as Lead Client Partner for some of PwC's most strategic accounts in Quebec.
He has worked on many large strategic and operational transformation programs such as: business and operating model transformation, post-merger integration, large system implementation, regulatory and accounting change, cost optimization and core operations transformation. He has managed programs for financial institutions in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. Walter is a recognized financial services professional, often called upon to speak at industry events and client presentations and has published white papers on various topics such as general trends in financial services, mergers and acquisitions, embedded finance / embedded insurance as well as cost/productivity optimization.
Walter obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science from Concordia University and an M.B.A. from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. He is heavily involved in campus recruiting and campus initiatives and enjoys mentoring the next generation of leaders.
