Steven is the PwC Canadian Management System Service lead and brings over 30 years of experience advising and assessing organizations environment, health and safety, information security programs in the context of sustainability performance, risk management and alignment with multiple ISO management system standards. Steven oversees the firm's quality and compliance requirements associated with accreditation requirements and the PwC Business Management System to provide accredited management system Certification services at PwC.
His career has provided him with the opportunity and experience to gain insights and assist fortune 100 clients in North America, South America, EU and the United Arab Emirates with global leading risk-based methodologies that include BowtieXP, HEMP, ALARP, Tripod Beta incident investigation, Deep Dive Reviews and management practices among others. Steven has worked with clients in high hazard industries such as oil and gas, chemical, mining, air and rail passenger transportation and the utility sector, including non for profit, federal, provincial and municipal government.
Steven has provided subject matter expertise with his team to support non-financial assurance services under ISAE 3000 on qualitative and quantitative data associated with the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) principals, The Mining Association of Canada’s (MAC) ‘Towards Sustainable Mining’ (TSM) protocols, Copper Mark, The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) trade association criteria and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) requirements among others.
Steven is an Exemplar Global certified Master Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, IT Security auditor and approved LBMA and Copper Mark Auditor.
