Sime Pavlovic is a partner in PwC Canada’s Technology Strategy & Transformation consulting practice. With more than 20 years of experience, he is widely recognized for his expertise in digital strategy, healthcare technology, and the integration of digital solutions to improve patient care, provider experience, and health system performance. He has overseen complex, pan-Canadian interoperability initiatives that are redefining how health data is shared and accessed across jurisdictions, enabling more coordinated, efficient, and patient-centered care. Sime is known for his ability to align digital innovation with clinical, operational, and strategic health system goals.
Sime’s prior leadership roles have spanned regional, provincial, and international healthcare systems. He has directed large-scale digital health programs for hospitals, provincial authorities, and health ministries, with a focus on clinical systems, data governance, digital identity, and virtual care. His work includes pioneering efforts such as Ontario’s first Digital Patient Identity initiative, leading the integration of digital health assets for emergency services, and advising on digital health strategies for governments and healthcare organizations globally. Sime has consistently worked across complex stakeholder environments—engaging clinicians, vendors, policymakers, and technology partners to deliver sustainable, value-driven transformation.
As an active contributor to Canada’s digital health landscape, Sime has held strategic advisory roles in national interoperability initiatives, clinical data access programs, and digital identity frameworks. He has led specialized teams in health system governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and secure information exchange. His work continues to shape policy, infrastructure, and system design to advance a more integrated, equitable, and accessible healthcare ecosystem.
