Shant leads our Technology Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice, focusing on Digital and Technology value creation within M&A transactions.
Shant has deep knowledge and broad experience in delivering digital and technology-driven value in M&A, including buy/sell, IPOs, JVs, carve-outs, and integrations. He has more than 20 years of global M&A experience as a technology M&A advisor and investment banker, principal tech-sector investor, and technology and management consultant. Shant has advised on the technology aspects of over 300 deals across North America, UK/Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific for some of the world’s leading private equity firms, Canadian pension funds, and strategic buyers.
Shant’s focus involves an integrated approach to M&A advisory across the commercial, strategic, financial, and operational impacts of technology, focused on enhancing value, accelerating transition timelines, and mitigating execution risks.
Shant holds dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a Masters in Finance (Corporate Finance) from the London Business School.
