Sébastien Bellemare

Sébastien Bellemare is the leader for Quebec Private Companies and “Family Office” and a partner within the Audit and Assurance Services of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP/s.r.l./s.e.n.c.r.l., at the Montreal office.

Mr. Bellemare is responsible for audits of public and private companies in the services, manufacturing, retail, the information and communications technology, chemicals products sectors and non profit organizations.

Mr. Bellemare has more than 30 years of experience in the field of auditing. He is currently involved in several financing projects, initial public offerings, securities fraud investigations, and merger/acquisition projects. He has also participated in qualifying transactions with start-up capital companies and has led audit engagements involving international activities.

Mr. Bellemare holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from HEC Montréal (École des Hautes Études Commerciales). He obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1995 and also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA Illinois, Maine) designation.

Mr. Bellemare is a member of several committees: Québec and Eastern Canada Leadership Team, National Private Leadership Team, professional practice for the Montreal region, and business development. He was also Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal (JCCM) (1998–2000), Treasurer of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ) (1997–1999), Director of the Festival international de Lanaudière (2002–2004), Director and Treasurer of the Théâtre de Quat’Sous (2008-2012), Director of the Fondation du Festival de Lanaudière (2017-2022) and Director of Pointe-à-Callière Foundation.
