Philippe Jordan is a partner in PwC’s Deals practice in Montreal and a member of the Corporate Advisory and Restructuring group.
Philippe has more than 30 years of experience working with public and private companies in matters of restructuring and insolvency. During this time, he has served as a financial advisor, trustee and controller for financial institutions, debtors, shareholders and other stakeholders. Occasionally, he plays an interim role in the management of the company. He has also received provisional administration mandates through court orders. Additionally, Philippe has fulfilled international mandates for various Canadian clients and has participated in union negotiations in some cases. He has also served as fund administrator, managing funds from class actions, and has fulfilled other atypical mandates.
Philippe generally works with clients that are underperforming financially due to operational challenges. With the help of his team of professionals, he is able to identify the root causes of these challenges and suggest operational changes to make businesses profitable again or to refinance, sell or liquidate as needed.
During his career, he has worked in just about every industry: manufacturing, logistics, transportation, retail, pharmaceutical, wholesale, telecommunications, construction, science/research, customer service, mining, finance, hospitality, seniors’ housing, real estate, etc.
