Philip is a Deals Partner in Vancouver and he leads the Transaction Services practice in BC. Philip is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Philip is an accomplished deals professional, experienced in the execution of buy-side and sell-side due diligence investigations on all types of organizations. Philip has worked on multiple cross-border deals and has experience with deals in Canada, the US, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. This experience includes having spent over five years in New York with PwC’s US Transaction Services Team.

Philip has led both acquirer and vendor due diligence engagements on targets across multiple industries including retail and leisure, technology, forestry (timberlands), pulp and paper, exploration and operating mines, oil and gas engineering companies, manufacturing, insurance companies (life and non-life), securities broker dealers, banks and asset management firms.

Philip is a regular speaker at PwC’s Mining Minds and Mining Director Series Sessions on topics such as deal considerations for the mining industry, maximizing shareholder value and PwC’s deals outlook for the mining industry.
