Lucas Matsuda

Lucas is a Vice President in the Deals practice at PwC, working in the Vancouver office. He joined the firm in 2004 and is a member of the Corporate Advisory & Restructuring group.

Lucas has over 11 years of public practice experience in both consumer and corporate engagements. He has acted for both debtors and secured creditors in a wide variety of sectors, including forestry, mining, construction, entertainment, and manufacturing covering engagements under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Division I Proposal, Division II Proposal, Bankruptcy, Receivership), Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and Canada Business Corporation Act.

Lucas is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and a Qualified BIA Insolvency Counsellor. He is a member in good standing of the Certified Management Accounts of British Columbia, Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, the British Columbia Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, Vancouver Insolvency Discussion Group and Young Insolvency Professionals of British Columbia and Alberta.

Lucas also sits on the Board of Directors for the British Columbia Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and holds the title of Treasurer.
