Partner, PwC Canada
Linda Beauparlant is a partner working in the Montréal office. She has 22 years of experience providing audit services and acting as a trusted business advisor to clients, primarily in the retail and consumers goods and pharmaceutical sectors. She serves on the Quebec Leadership Group of PwC.
Her clientele includes publicly traded companies, privately-owned, fast-growing companies and many subsidiaries of French public companies. Linda is part of PwC’s French Executive Network initiative which provides a reliable network of professionals and contacts for French organizations and their subsidiaries abroad, and for foreign investors in France.
Her collaborative style
In the work she does with her clients, she provides practical advice and acts as a sounding board for management and the Boards of publicly traded and fast-growing private companies, some of them controlled by private equity investors. She is involved with business acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and with the coordination of international assignments. She has experience with IFRS and Canadian and US GAAP. She provides her clients with multi-disciplined business advice and effectively coordinates specialized resources within the PwC network.
In her role as audit partner, she is responsible for the coordination of the engagement team and she ensures that her clients receive outstanding service throughout the year. She leads discussions with management and the Board relating to all audit, controls and operational matters. She is the primary contact for all aspects of the audit.
Community and Education
She is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Canadian Club of Montréal. Until recently, she served on the Board of the French Chamber of Commerce in Canada.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from L’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) and the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
