As PwC Canada’s National Transfer Pricing & Customs Leader, Lav leads the firm’s Transfer Pricing and Customs & Global Trade practices, guiding clients through an era of unprecedented change in cross-border taxation — from the modernization of Canada’s transfer pricing legislation to shifting global trade and tariff dynamics. He is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and market impact of the national practice, with a clear ambition: to be the advisor clients call first when the stakes are highest.

A functional expert in Transfer Pricing, Lav works collaboratively with a team of trusted advisors to help clients navigate their most complex cross-border challenges, building trust and delivering sustained outcomes across the full spectrum of PwC’s capabilities. He believes the most difficult problems are rarely just technical — they’re commercial and human — and that solving them well takes diverse perspectives around the table.

Lav’s global experience is extensive, having worked with PwC network firms in India, the Middle East, and Canada over a 28-year career. Leading and building teams across three regions has shaped how he leads today: with curiosity, candour, and a personal investment in developing the people around him.

His previous leadership roles include serving as National Tax Transformation Leader, where he championed a human-led, tech-powered approach to delivering tax services; leading the People function for the National Transfer Pricing practice; and serving on PwC Canada’s BC leadership team, where he shaped the region’s partner and market engagement strategy.
