National Managing Partner, PwC Canada
For more than 30 years, Lana Paton has been building diverse teams and trusted relationships to help companies navigate change and solve important problems.
As the National Managing Partner, Business Units at PwC Canada, Lana oversees our Consulting, Tax, Assurance and Deals business areas, and works closely with the firm’s business unit leaders to bring the full strength of our people and innovative services to the market.
Lana has been leading the digital transformation of PwC Canada, implementing a digital lab, a digital accelerators program, and overseeing the digital transformation journey of the Canadian Firm.
Prior to her current role, Lana led PwC’s national tax practice, where she helped businesses reimagine the future of tax. Lana has also led PwC’s energy, utilities, mining and industrial products (EUMI) practice, where she focused on broad business issues and practical client solutions. During this time, Lana presented at various industry events and contributed to PwC’s global annual mine publication.
Outside of the office, Lana rappels down Toronto’s City Hall every year as part of her role as a director with the Make-a-Wish Foundation. She is a member of the Hellenic Heritage Foundation and is involved in the Greek Community. In 2017, Lana was honoured to be recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women by Women's Executive Network, and to have received the 2018 Hellenic Canadian Board of Trade Business Award.
Lana holds her Bachelor of Math degree from the University of Waterloo in 1993, and has been a qualified CPA, CA since 1994. Lana was named a CPA Ontario 2021 Fellow, the highest distinction bestowed upon a CPA in the accounting profession.
