Kelsey Binns

Kelsey is a Partner in the Vancouver Core Assurance practice, specializing in the mining industry. She brings over a decade of experience working with mining companies, ranging from junior exploration companies to international producers. Kelsey collaborates closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes, supporting both private and public entities through periods of transformation, growth, and regulatory change.

With extensive experience in complex international audits, Kelsey has deep expertise in global mining matters, IFRS, US GAAP, and both Canadian and SEC regulatory reporting. She advises on the application of accounting standards and works with public companies to complete annual financial audits, assess compliance with SOX 404 internal control requirements, and execute equity and debt capital market transactions. 

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). Kelsey actively contributes to the professional community through mentorship and participation in industry working groups. She also serves on the board of directors of the Britannia Mine Museum.
