Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer, PwC Canada
Kelechi is the Chief Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Officer at PwC Canada. Also a partner in our Risk Services practice, Kelechi has led key firmwide I&D priorities and initiatives, building on her long-standing commitment to advancing inclusion and fostering a culture of belonging.
Prior to taking on this role, Kelechi has been actively involved in many of our firm’s people and I&D initiatives, including previously being the GTA partner sponsor of our Black Professionals Inclusion Network, and the co-lead for the inaugural launch of our Amplifying Black Leaders (ABLe) program.
Kelechi’s continuing focus is to foster a culture that allows our people to show up authentically and feel equitably supported in their careers.
Kelechi has more than 20 years of experience which includes most recently being a member of the firm’s Extended Leadership Team. She has worked in three different PwC territories and across several industries, including Oil & Gas, Retail and Financial Services.
Working in our Third Party Trust Services (TPTS) practice within Risk Services (RS), she provides internal controls (technology and business process), risk management, and audit services to a variety of public and private top tier financial services clients. She has significant experience in Service Organization Controls (SOC) reporting, as well as system conversions and transformations.
Kelechi is passionate about people development. She has held lead roles in Learning and Development, Performance Management and Recruitment. She is also on the board of two institutions which promote equality, diversity, and inclusivity, one of which is the Young People’s Theatre where she serves as Treasurer.
