Junaid is the Legal Function Transformation Leader and a partner in the Tax Reporting & Strategy team at PwC Canada, specializing in transformation for legal and tax functions.

As an experienced tax and legal transformation professional, Junaid helps clients with the operating model design, process optimization, process outsourcing and the use of smart automation technologies. In doing so, Junaid assists clients in supporting business objectives, generating shareholder value, and developing sustainable organizations.

Additionally, Junaid leads PwC Canada’s Total Tax Contribution and tax transparency efforts, and has an extensive background in intercompany design and execution. He has assisted his clients in transforming their supply chains to better meet their business needs by developing and operationalizing transfer pricing models that align with business objectives.

Junaid is a frequent speaker on the topics of tax, technology and automation and government use of tax data. He is also active in the community and currently serves on the boards of the Fakih Foundation and the Pearson Centre for Progressive Policy, as well as the campaign cabinet of United Way of Halton and Hamilton.

He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelors of Business Administration (Hons) and from the University of Reading with a Masters in Science in International Business. He also holds a CPA designation from the State of Delaware.
