Julie Brunet is a partner in PwC's Performance and Restructuring group, which is part of the Deals practice, working in the Montreal office.
Julie has over 12 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency, serving as a financial advisor, Trustee, and Monitor for financial institutions, debtors, shareholders, and other stakeholders. She has also fulfilled international cross-border mandates for Canadian clients. Julie works with financially underperforming clients facing market and operational challenges. With her team, she has executed operational restructurings, due diligences, financial diagnostics, and business sales, refinancings, and liquidations where profitability was unachievable. As a member of the firm's Performance and Restructuring team, Julie brings extensive experience across retail, technology, transportation, entertainment, manufacturing, and construction industries. Her expertise includes advising senior executives, boards of directors, lenders, and other key stakeholders on a range of business opportunities and challenges, including building business and financial models, developing and executing turnaround plans, and leading both informal and court-supervised restructuring processes.
Julie advises a broad range of stakeholders, including financial institutions, private equity firms, private owners, public companies, senior executives, boards of directors, and lenders. She partners with management teams and boards to navigate complex business challenges, working alongside government authorities and other key actors in the economic sector.
