Josh is a Partner in PwC Canada's Deals practice in the Halifax office, specializing in Performance & Restructuring . He advises lenders, sponsors, governments, and management teams across restructuring, special situations, debt advisory, and mergers and acquisitions.
Josh brings a distinctive hybrid profile combining Big Four partner experience with senior in-industry operating roles, giving him an uncommon depth of perspective on both advisory mandates and the practical realities of complex financial and operational transformations. He is known for pragmatic execution, disciplined value creation, and translating complex financial and operational data into actionable, executive-level insight.
With more than 15 years of experience across professional services and senior corporate leadership, Josh has deep expertise in lender advisory, debtor-side restructuring, CCAA proceedings, liquidity management, and transaction execution. He is one of the few Deals partners in Atlantic Canada, and his practice bridges the region's restructuring, corporate finance, and private company advisory needs.
Earlier in his career, Josh held senior roles at national professional services firms, leading complex restructuring and insolvency mandates, lender advisory engagements, and transaction services assignments across a range of industries and sectors.

Josh is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Dalhousie University.
