Harpal is a partner in the Global Structuring practice at PwC Canada based in the BC region.
Harpal has worked with PwC for over 10 years, and specializes in Canadian international and US cross border tax matters. Harpal advises both public and private clients in a variety of industries such as mining, maritime and offshore transportation, and real estate on matters relating to international financing, global structure reviews, and cross border or global expansion and restructuring, including related compliance requirements and considerations. Harpal also has experience leading international M&A transactions and works in conjunction with other tax specialty groups and service lines to provide international consulting to the market.
Harpal is a CPA and graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) with Honours in 2015 before joining PwC Canada full-time. Harpal has completed all three levels of the CPA Canada Tax In-Depth Program and co-presented and co-authored a paper and presentation on international tax updates at the 2023 B.C. Canadian Tax Foundation Conference.
