Danny Garwood is a partner in PwC’s Deals practice, and is the Cyber Forensic Investigations and Forensic Technology Services lead in Montreal. Danny’s practice focuses on digital forensic services which encompasses many facets of technology risk and litigation support. These services include: Cyber Incident Response, Computer Forensics, eDiscovery and Information Governance. He has over 20 years of experience in technology investigations, litigation support and cyber security. Danny has global experience, having been based in Canada and the Cayman Islands and assisting clients with projects in Canada, US, France, Haiti, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Morocco, and Hong Kong.

Danny has 15 years of professional services experience, and an additional 5 years of industry experience in the role of Senior Information Security Analyst with Bombardier Aerospace. At Bombardier Aerospace, he was involved with the development of the information security program and was the lead for internal digital investigations and incident response.

Danny has provided testimony relating to digital forensics and penned numerous expert reports in both civil and criminal matters on the same topic. He has also led complex eDiscovery projects in the context of litigious restructuring matters, class action lawsuits, regulatory inquiries, and cross-border investigations.

Additionally, Danny has leveraged eDiscovery tools and processes to deliver projects in the area of Information Management. These projects have included maters relating to data identification, data segregation, and managing risk through defensible data deletion.

Due to his expertise, Danny has been called upon to speak at conference on topics such as digital forensics for internal investigations, complex data collections, and efficient workflow for large eDiscovery matters.
