Christina Fox
Partner, PwC Canada
Christina Fox is a partner in PwC Toronto’s asset management and pension assurance practice. She has over 16 years of experience serving asset management and other financial services clients. Christina has assisted new entrants into the Canadian market in their transition to IFRS and the Canadian regulatory environment for investment managers, advisors, and funds. She has provided audit and regulatory compliance assistance to clients reporting under IFRS, Canadian GAAP, U.S. GAAP, ASPE and PSAS. She is a leader of the PwC Toronto Pension Centre of Excellence, which serves more than 160 clients in the Greater Toronto Area.
Christina is the engagement leader on the largest Canadian private equity funds client, several investment managers/advisors and investment funds clients, including mutual, pools and hedge funds; and many Canadian and U.S. employee benefits plans. She plays an active role in audit transformation and methodology decisions for our Canada pension practice. Christina spent over four years working in the U.S. financial services practice where her clients included real estate funds and separate accounts, pension and investment management, insurance companies and regional banks. She provides services to many of our Canadian clients with a U.S. cross-border relationship and operations.
Christina was a PwC representative on the IFIC Investment Funds IFRS Working Committee and a contributor to the Investment Funds IFRS Toolkit published by IFIC in October 2013.
Christina also serves on the Board of Directors, and as Treasurer of the Children’s Bridge International Consultants of Ottawa, Ontario. She is also a member of the Board of Directors at Radius Child & Youth Services of Etobicoke and Oakville, Ontario.
