Cheryl Cheng is a partner in the Valuations practice at PwC Canada, specializing in financial instruments. Based in Toronto, Cheryl brings over 15 years of experience working with clients across various sectors, including private equity, pension funds, banking, mining, power and utilities, and more. She has deep expertise in valuation disciplines and asset classes, advising clients on corporate restructuring, capital optimization, mergers and acquisitions, tax and estate planning, shareholder transactions, executive compensation, strategic business decisions, governance, and financial reporting.
Before joining PwC, Cheryl was the Canadian market leader for a U.S. valuation firm. She also held leadership positions within the pension sector and in professional services.
Cheryl holds designations as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). She has contributed to the field by authoring the financial instrument modules for the CBV Institute.
