Carly Stallwood

Carly Stallwood is a partner at PwC Canada. She is the National Assurance Leader and is a member of the Canadian Leadership Team. Carly collaborates with senior leaders of the firm to shape the strategic direction of the Assurance practice. In her previous role as Chief Financial Officer of the Assurance practice, Carly was instrumental in developing and implementing financial planning strategies that enhance value and drive operational efficiencies.

As a dedicated Audit partner, Carly plays a pivotal role in overseeing high-profile engagements and providing strategic insights to clients. Her experience extends to working with multinational public corporations, guiding them through complex financial landscapes, and ensuring adherence to global standards. Carly has over 20 years of experience focusing within the financial services industry, including private equity, asset management, real estate, banking and insurance.

As Carly spent 8 years working in the PwC New York City financial services group, she has extensive experience working with clients that are SEC registered, reporting under IFRS and US GAAP. She has considerable experience working with complex accounting transactions, such as business combinations, share based compensation and fair value measurement. Carly has direct experience with initial public offerings, debt offerings as well as acquisitions and divestitures for public and private companies.

Most recently, Carly has been recognized with the 2024 Women in Capital Markets Champion of Change award. She is passionate about fostering a collaborative environment, mentoring upcoming talent, and building trust in society.
