Arun Gupta is a Risk Assurance partner and leads PwC’s Transformation Assurance practice. He has more than 22 years of experience working within large transformation programs, consulting services, implementation of IT systems and risk management practices. He has delivered services to a large number of different industries including Public Sector, Financial Services, Utilities, Oil & Gas and Healthcare
Arun has been part of PwC for the last 18 years working in New Delhi, Houston, San Francisco, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto.
Arun specializes in large transformations, systems implementations, risk management, and business process improvements. He has led systems implementation projects and large-scale transformation assurance projects to help clients in a variety of different areas including agile implementations, customer systems implementations, revenue assurance, organizational change management, systems risk and controls, systems integrations, Board reporting and governance as well as compliance with regulatory aspects. He has a strong finance background related to financial reporting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Arun’s clients value the depth of experience he brings to his engagements and his ability to navigate highly regulated industries. He is known for his collaborative skills and the ability to build strong client relationships. He is passionate about building teams, creating positive energy within his teams and creating an environment that fosters teamwork.
At a community level, Arun is passionate about the need to drive better learning around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths with our current generation. He is a prior Board member of Telus Spark Science Centre in Calgary and of Homeward Trust Edmonton.
In his spare time Arun enjoys skydiving, finding it to be a calming influence in comparison to his busy workdays.
