Alastair Irvine

Alastair Irvine is a Partner in the Deals Group in Montréal and city leader for Transaction Services. He is Lead Relationship Partner and/or Deals Partner on several priority PwC accounts. He also leads the Trust network growth priority for PwC Canada.

As a Deals Partner, he has advised clients on all aspects of the transaction process from both buy-side and sell-side perspectives, including preparation and review of sell-side reports and carve-out financials and is experienced in national and cross-border transactions for both private equity and corporate clients including numerous public companies. He has worked on transactions in Canada, the USA, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil, India, Turkey and South Africa among other countries.

Alastair has been with PwC United Kingdom since 2002 and joined the Transaction Services team in 2005. He holds a degree in Politics from Durham University and is a Chartered Accountant, accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Before relocating to the Montréal office in 2012, Alastair held roles at PwC UK in Newcastle and PwC Paris. He is fluent in both English and French and brings a broad international perspective to his work.
