Adam Boutros

Adam Boutros is the National Assurance Markets Leader and a Partner in PwC Canada’s Assurance Group, based in Toronto. He works with both large and small Canadian and US multinational public and private companies and brings deep experience supporting organizations with complex reporting, governance, and assurance needs. 

As an assurance partner at PwC Canada, Adam is focused on serving the firm’s largest and most complex clients. He stays closely connected to the latest issues facing public companies and brings together PwC’s best talent to help clients address their most pressing challenges. He has a demonstrated history of providing assurance services across external audit, accounting advisory, Sarbanes‑Oxley Act compliance, internal controls, IFRS and US GAAP. 

In his role as Assurance Markets Leader for PwC Canada, Adam leads teams in delivering the highest quality audits, along with insights and solutions that support clients across their diverse business needs. 

Adam has extensive boardroom experience and a strong understanding of public and large private company reporting issues. His experience includes supporting both initial and secondary public offerings, as well as other capital markets transactions in Canada and the United States. 

Adam has worked in PwC’s Berlin and San Jose offices and has completed Genesis Park, PwC’s global leadership development program. 

He holds a CPA designation and passed the UFE in 2002, finishing 8th in Canada. Adam is a graduate of McMaster University.
