This issue of Developments covers two separate topics. First, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has recently undertaken a policy review aimed at improving the administration of the SR&ED program. This was announced in the 2008 federal budget. We’ll outline the purpose and contents of the CRA’s draft policy documents that deal with filing requirements and third-party payments.

Second, we outline changes to limits on the length of project description narratives, which have been relaxed somewhat.
