Yves Bonin is a partner in the Audit and Assurance Group at PwC’s Montreal office.
With more than 25 years of experience as a trusted business advisor, Yves leads the Private Clients group in Quebec. His clients primarily run family businesses (privately held as well as publicly traded companies) in the manufacturing, mining, technology and consumer goods sectors.
Specializing in audit and assurance, Yves also has extensive expertise in the areas of strategic management, financing and business acquisitions. He has in-depth knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS), as well as Canadian and US accounting standards for private enterprises. Initial public offerings (IPOs), due diligence and transaction support are also among his areas of expertise.
Yves’ passionate and forthright commitment to client service is evident in the quality of his client relationships and the soundness of the practical and strategic business advice he provides. His robust business network and comprehensive knowledge of the sector are also key assets.
Yves holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Montreal’s HEC School of Business. He became a chartered accountant (CA) in 1988.
Yves is a member of HEC Montreal’s Chair for Small Business Development and Succession. He also serves on the board of the Pointe-à-Caillère Foundation.
