Simon is a seasoned Audit Partner with PwC Canada, with over 20 years of professional experience in public practice. After leading our New Brunswick audit practice for 9 years, Simon relocated to join our Toronto practice in 2014.

Simon has extensive experience servicing multinational enterprises, public companies, large and mid-sized private companies as well as government organizations. He has covered a wide range of industries, including consumer packaged goods, industrial manufacturing, forestry, pulp & paper, building & construction, utilities, airports and ports authorities.

Simon has an energetic style with strong interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to develop productive relationships with executives.

Simon advises our clients on a wide range of complex accounting issues related to IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE, including derivatives and hedging, pensions, business combinations, restructurings and disposals, impairments, fair value measurements, foreign currency, consolidations and tax accounting and has strong connections to PwC’s National Accounting Consulting Services group. He has supported numerous clients through complex multi year GAAP conversion projects.

Aside from accounting advisory and external assurance services Simon also helps his clients with acquisitions, divestitures, regulatory issues, prospectuses and other public filing documents as well as internal controls effectiveness and attestation projects and fraud investigations.
