Robert Marsh

Based in Vancouver, Rob is a partner in National Accounting and Assurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), the leader of PwC’s Canadian financial instruments topic team, and a member of PwC's global network of accounting specialists. He chairs the PwC global working group on IFRS 13, Fair Value Measurement, and is an active member of the PwC Global financial instruments topic team and working groups on the derecognition of financial instruments, hedging, debt and equity instruments, leasing, the conceptual framework, and IFRS 9.
Rob is consulted on complex accounting matters by internal and external clients from across Canada and other parts of the world, and shares knowledge not only on IFRS but also on US GAAP, Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises, and regulatory matters.
In addition to his CPA, CA designation, Rob holds a Ph.D in Philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
