Ken Griffin is a partner in the Tax Services practice of PwC Canada working in the Toronto office. He is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Private Company Services Groups.

Ken provides advice on Canadian income tax issues to private companies and their shareholders in a variety of industries. He focuses on the real estate sector and, within this area works also with public Real Estate Income Trusts (REITs), pension funds, and domestic and foreign investment funds. Ken's experience includes structuring both domestic and cross-border new investments; advising clients on tax reorganizations and shareholder estate planning matters, and handling income and capital tax issues concerning the use of partnerships, joint ventures, trusts and other ownership and financing arrangements. Ken is currently the Co-chair of the Joint Committee on Taxation of the CBA and CPA Canada.

Ken graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1992 with a Bachelor of Mathematics (Co-op Chartered Accountancy) and obtained his CPA, CA in 1993 after making the CICA Honour Roll in the 1992 Uniform Final Examination. Ken is a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association.
