Susan McKilligan is a partner in the Tax Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Vancouver office. She specializes in cross-border taxation.
Susan provides Canadian and US tax advice to a range of clients on topics such as corporate income and capital gains taxation for cross-border corporate reorganizations, and developing tax-efficient alternatives for corporate transactions including acquisitions and divestitures.
Susan graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in Political Science and with an LLB. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Susan is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, and a Chartered Accountant.
Susan has authored and co-authored articles for the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Canadian Tax Journal, and she recently spoke at the British Columbia Tax Conference on the topic of Canadian and US tax issues associated with US corporations investing in Canada.
