Sarah has over 20 years of experience as a private equity CEO, bank executive, strategy partner and board member. She has deep expertise in the consumer retail and financial services industries, in both private and public companies. She takes pride in being known as a thought-leader and operator in customer & employee experience, value creation, and high-performance cultures & teams.
Prior to joining PwC, Sarah was the CEO of Canada’s leading specialty toy and kids’ bookstore, where she transformed the retailer into Canada's Authority on Play. She led the specialty retailer during a turbulent pandemic, notably leading a digital reinvention, launching a private label brand and creating a performance and purpose-driven culture. Under her leadership, the company was recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies and was named Canada’s Brand of the Year.
Previously she was the Senior Vice President, Customer Experience and Omni Channel Strategy at a big 5 Canadian bank where she elevated customer and employee journeys, launched a new mobile banking app and was an integral member of the acquisition and integration team as well as the naming rights to Toronto’s most recognized arena.
She spent a decade as a Partner with a Strategy Consulting firm, where she advised Fortune 500 companies on large scale retail and financial services customer-centric transformations and cultural change agendas.
She is committed to using her platform to empower and advance women. She is a co-owner of the Association Football Club Toronto, the city's first professional women's soccer team.

Sarah holds an MBA and an engineering degree from Queen’s University. She is currently a member of the Kids Help Phone fundraising cabinet. Previously she served on the boards of Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, the Retail Council of Canada, the Canadian Toy Association and the Queen’s University MBA Program.
