Richard is a Partner with PwC’s Deals practice and is based in Toronto, Canada. He is a CPA, CA, and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) focused on providing business valuation and advisory services to public and private companies, pension funds and private equity organizations.
Richard has deep experience advising on valuations for a range of purposes, including independent valuations, corporate reorganizations, financial reporting, tax and estate planning, management compensation, shareholder agreements and transactions. He is focused on the real estate sector, including valuations of investment holding companies and businesses with significant real estate interests across major asset classes, as well as companies that service the real estate industry.
He also oversees PwC’s Real Estate Valuations group’s review of property valuations prepared by management and third-party appraisers for the firm’s audit clients. In addition, Richard helps coordinate PwC’s Global Real Estate Valuations network roundtables, supporting the sharing of market insights and valuation perspectives across PwC’s global network.
