Parisa Osborne is a Partner with PwC Canada and leads the Firm's Ethics and Compliance Office.
Parisa oversees a team of lawyers, assurance, human capital, risk and compliance professionals nationally, focused on regulatory compliance, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering controls, quality systems management, testing and monitoring, and conduct or insider risk investigations.
Parisa is passionate about building trust in organizational processes to foster a speak-up and challenge culture at PwC Canada and for its clients.
Parisa applies her expertise in law, dispute resolution, ethics and investigations to support PwC’s clients through various Forensics, Risk Assurance and Consulting service offerings, including crisis management, ethics training, policy review, ethics and compliance program implementations, workplace investigations and assessments.
As Deputy General Counsel, Parisa supports PwC’s Chief Legal Officer in the management and operation of PwC’s Office of the General Counsel.
Prior to joining PwC, Parisa acted as legal counsel and investigator for corporate entities, including universities, school boards, hospitals, financial institutions and non-profit organizations. Parisa co-led the investigation into Jian Ghomeshi, a watershed investigation case in Canada. Parisa also co-authored the Workplace Investigation chapter in the legal text “New Perspectives on Canadian Employment Law” published by LexisNexis.
Parisa holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
