Morakinyo is a partner in the assurance group of PwC Canada, working in the Calgary office. He has more than 14 years of experience providing audit and assurance services to small and large oil and gas businesses in Nigeria and Canada. Morakinyo started his professional career with PwC in Lagos, Nigeria in 2000, transferring to PwC Canada in 2005.
Morakinyo is a member of the audit quality and methodology group and provides audit methodology and risk management support to engagement teams across PwC Canada. His specialties include IFRS, the oil and gas industry, the Sarbanes Oxley Act, US GAAP, audit methodology, internal control over financial reporting and risk management.
