Kara is an International Tax Services Partner in the Toronto office of PwC Canada. She joined the international tax practice in 1998. 

Kara specializes in advising both Canadian and non-Canadian multinational corporations across the spectrum of international tax planning and structuring, including foreign affiliate planning; designing and implementing value chain transformation structures, restructuring global business combinations; designing and implementing cross-border financing and income migration strategies. 

Kara has designed and implemented outbound global restructuring projects for companies operating in the technology, financial services, mining, and consumer, industrial products and retail industries.

She is a regular speaker at tax and business conferences on international taxation matters and has had several articles published.

Kara graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1995 and a Masters of Accounting in 1996 from the University of Waterloo. She is also a Chartered Professional Accountant of Canada (CPA)/Chartered Accountant (CA) of Canada.
