Josée is the leader of our Quebec Risk Assurance practice. She has over 30 years of experience as a senior business advisor in governance, enterprise risk management, internal audit, internal control and regulatory compliance. She has acquired a wide-ranging knowledge of issues affecting businesses across multiple sectors, enabling her to bring new ideas to her clients and help solve their complex problems.

Josée is a recognized speaker in the field of governance and internal audit. She was named “Incontournable en Gouvernance” by Première en affaires magazine in 2013 for her unique expertise and for her contribution to the field of governance. She is the founder of PwC’s internal audit roundtables in Quebec, an ongoing forum that has enabled heads of internal audit to network, share, and learn about leading practices and technologies for over 10 years.

Josée is also PwC Canada’s Chief Information and Technology Officer, leading a talented and diverse team driving the creation of innovative human-led, tech powered solutions for our people, our clients and our communities. From 2019 to 2022, Josée was PwC Canada’s Digital Asset Leader as part of a national strategic initiative, which was aimed at digitally upskilling all PwC professionals and implementing cutting-edge digital tools and platforms to transform the delivery of our services to clients.

Josée is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec (CPA) and received the prestigious recognition of Fellow in 2020. She holds the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance) and PMP (Project Management Professional) designations.

Josée is committed to giving back to the community and has been a strong supporter of Centraide for several years. In 2018, she received the Coup de coeur Award in recognition of her distinctive commitment to Centraide and the success of PwC’s Centraide campaign in Quebec. Josée was also a member of the organizing committee for the “A votre santé” evening for the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Foundation, and a member of the Ambassador Committee for the “En coeur” evening for the Fondation québécoise des enfants malades du cœurs.

Josée is also very involved in empowering young women to succeed in the business community. She was one of two partners responsible for the launch of PwC’s Women in Leadership, an award winning program designed to accelerate the development, retention and advancement of women. Josée is a coach and a mentor for several women at the firm.
