Gary Hunter
Oracle Alliance Leader, PwC Canada
Gary Hunter serves as the Oracle Alliance Leader for PwC Canada. He is dedicated to driving client success by implementing Oracle’s cloud-based ERP Applications across various industries aiming to enhance decision-making, leverage AI opportunities, empower workforces, drive innovation, and fuel business growth.
In addition to his primary role, Gary is the Technology Leader for PwC Canada’s Consulting practice. This encompasses Tech Strategy & Transformation, Data & Analytics, Business Applications (including SAP, Salesforce, and Workday), Cloud Engineering (spanning Microsoft, AWS, and Google), Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Financial Crime.
Before assuming his current responsibilities, Gary held the position of national leader for Oracle. In this capacity, he led significant growth of the practice by establishing it as a trusted service provider. This ranged from strategic planning through implementation and ongoing support, helping many prominent Canadian organizations in sectors such as Health, Government and Public Services and Higher Education.
Gary’s expertise is recognized on a global scale, having collaborated with organizations across North America, Australia, and Europe. His ability to implement ERP solutions tailored to client’s strategic goals, incorporate industry-specific best practices, develop Shared Services, and continuously improve and innovate existing ERP systems is highly valued.
Gary earned his Bachelor of Accounting from Edith Cowan University, in Australia. When not at work he enjoys engaging in hobbies such as reading and fly fishing. However, his greatest joy comes from spending quality time with his family, particularly his Grandchildren.
