Alejandra Glazebrook

Alejandra is a partner in Assurance in the Vancouver office with over 13 years of specialized experience in the resources sector, with a particular focus on mining and forestry. Renowned for a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, Alejandra has guided clients through complex financial environments spanning cross-border transactions, capital markets, and regulatory compliance, making her a trusted advisor for organizations navigating today’s evolving business landscape. 

Throughout her career, Alejandra has supported a wide range of clients, from emerging companies to established multinationals, assisting them with audits, intricate transactions such as debt and equity financings, initial public offerings in both Canada and the United States, and first-year Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) implementations. Her deep technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP has positioned her as a key resource for clients facing challenging accounting matters. She also has extensive experience assisting clients in designing controls programs around financial reporting. Alejandra works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, ensuring that strategies are not only technically sound but also practical and tailored to each of her clients’ objectives. Alejandra is fluent in Spanish and is able to support business with operations in Spanish speaking countries.

In addition to her professional practice, Alejandra is actively involved in industry associations within the resources sector and the community at large as Director of the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre. At PwC Vancouver, she co-chairs the Women’s Inclusion Network of BC supporting the professional empowerment of women. Alejandra completed her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
