“This time, we championed a new approach: viewing customs as a partner in business's digital transformation, rather than solely a regulatory body. At the event, we showcased how modern digital tools and API access to customs declarations unlock new opportunities for businesses, fostering transparency, efficiency, and flexibility in state interactions. This unique format equips businesses with practical solutions and insights for enhancing international trade, sharing best practices to keep them a step ahead”

commented Vita Miroshnychenko, Director, Head of Customs Regulation and International Trade Practice, PwC Ukraine.

A significant focus was placed on Aurora's practical case study. This detailed how the company configured API access to its own declarations and developed analytics for supply chain and customs process management.

“Previously, manual data loading consumed significant time and resources. In June 2025, the State Customs Service opened its API, and by July 2025, we had already developed and launched automated data exchange with them. This resulted in an integration service with our own database (35+ tables), which was automatically populated with 12.5 thousand archives and set for hourly automatic updates,”

stated Petro Babii, Head of Customs Clearance and Regulation at Aurora Multimarket chain.
