Bratislava, 5 June 2018 – New partners were appointed at PwC in Slovakia from 1 July 2018 -Dagmar Haklová in Tax and Legal Services, Peter Havalda in Assurance and Martin Šikulaj in Advisory.
Dagmar Haklová was appointed TLS Partner in Slovakia responsible for changing the position of PwC from a compliance delivery service provider to a consultant on tax strategy and tax control frameworks. She will also focus on implementing standardization and technology solutions into our internal processes, as well as new TLS client services. She will lead the TRS, HRS and IAS practices. Dagmar has more than 19 years of professional experience, including more than 10 years as a finance manager working in financial services.
Peter Havalda was appointed Assurance Partner with a full assurance client portfolio in various industries - business service centres, power utility and other entrepreneurial and private businesses. Peter will lead a number of large audit projects in various industries, including technology companies. As Audit Transformation Practice leader in Slovakia and service centre coordinator, Peter will continue to focus on strategic changes in assurance in the CEE region and the expansion of the service centre, technological changes and audit efficiency. Peter is a certified Slovak statutory auditor and holds an FCCA qualification.
Martin Šikulaj was appointed Advisory Partner, with a focus on services for the public sector. Martin will continue helping governments to improve processes, implement electronic services, modernize, and increase effectiveness in public administration. Martin will support and strengthen our capability to offer advisory services to the public sector in the CEE region. He will identify and develop opportunities for the PwC CEE infrastructure team. Martin has previously worked for 11 years in state administration, and for six years in diplomacy.
