Our City 2022

This year, more than 50 employees of PwC Slovakia participated in the Naše mesto (Our City) event, the biggest volunteer event in Slovakia. Our volunteers helped with four activities in Bratislava (fence painting at a former kindergarten on Ševčenkova street, school fence painting on Drotárska street, weed removal and flower planting in Rača) and Košice (help with creating new green flower beds).

Every year since 2006, PwC Slovakia has taken part in the Our City volunteer project, organized by the Pontis Foundation. Our employees switch their formal dress for colourful T-shirts and help clean and beautify Slovak cities. PwC Slovakia has offices in Bratislava and Košice, and we participate in volunteering activities in both cities. Most activities are aimed at helping community organizations and include park clean-ups, fence painting, playground repairs, and tree and bush planting. Last year, PwC volunteers helped two community organizations, Imobilio and ZŠ Kežmarská in Bratislava, with painting fences, cleaning pavements, planting flowers, and building retaining walls. In addition to helping the community, our goal is also to boost team spirit. We want to have an active impact on the place where we live, so we are always pleased when we can take part in community activities.
