We launched our Volunteer Days at PwC

At PwC, we place long-term emphasis on supporting volunteering initiatives. As part of the International Year of Volunteering, we have prepared a series of volunteer days for our employees, offering a variety of activities. We kicked off the season at the end of March at ZOO Bratislava.

Our colleagues rolled up their sleeves to help clean and prepare a new enclosure for gelada baboons, contributing to the creation of a better environment for the animals. Volunteer days at the zoo provide us with an opportunity to combine nature conservation with hands-on support directly in the field.

At PwC, we see volunteering as a natural part of our corporate culture. It offers a space where colleagues can meet outside the office, share common values, and build stronger relationships. The combination of meaningful work and personal experience makes volunteering a unique form of teambuilding that brings fresh energy back into the workplace.

Every PwC employee is entitled to two volunteering days per year, which they can dedicate to causes of their choice - whether supporting local communities, protecting nature, contributing to social services, or improving the environment we live in. For us, volunteering is a way to actively contribute to a better society while also growing on a personal level.
