Volunteering has been part of our culture for 20 years

Volunteering has been a long-standing part of PwC’s corporate culture. For 20 years, we have supported the communities in which we live and work and taken part in initiatives that deliver concrete help.

This year, 71 of our colleagues joined the #NašeMesto initiative organized by Pontis Foundation. During the volunteering day, we swapped the office for outdoor work and helped with six activities in Bratislava and Košice.

In Bratislava, we took part in cleaning the premises of Dražďová Forest Lodge, painting the fencing at the Bratislava Zoo bison enclosure, and working in meadows at Devín Castle. In Košice, our colleagues helped refurbish benches at the Amundská multi-purpose playground, made improvements to the garden at Dénešová Kindergarten, and worked on the premises of the DORKA organization.

Volunteering gives us an opportunity to contribute to improving places that are part of our everyday lives. Working together outside the office delivers visible results and strengthens our connection with the people and communities around us.

Thank you to all our colleagues who gave their time and energy to a good cause. We are glad to be part of initiatives that have a positive impact to our communities.
