Mentoring students – Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award initiative is an integral part of our company, and we are proud to have been collaborating with it for ten years.
In the 2024/2025 school year, eleven of our colleagues completed mentor training for high school students. They supported eighteen students from the 1st Private Grammar School in Bratislava – Bajkalská. In addition to being mentors and guides, they also became friends to the students, helping them choose activities, set goals, and successfully complete their journey.
PwC Slovakia supports the “Leaders of Tomorrow” project under the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, which focuses on the personal development of young people.
At PwC, we believe that every individual has potential. We recognize the value of people both within our firm and in the wider community, and we are committed to continuing our support for youth development.
For us, PwC employees, this is an opportunity to enhance our skills in mentoring and communication, learn how to motivate others, introduce young people to our profession, give them a glimpse into the world of consulting, and connect with people of different ages and backgrounds.
