Victor Saw

Operations Leader, PwC Malaysia

Victor Saw is the Operations Leader at PwC Malaysia and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s operational excellence across practice management, facilities and services, and business operating system.

He started his professional career with the firm as an audit assistant based in our regional office in Penang. Victor then transferred to the Business Recovery unit with a focus in crisis management work. In 2015, Victor moved down to the Kuala Lumpur office and was appointed Business Recovery Leader in 2018, a position he presently holds. He was also Deals Leader from July 2020 to June 2024.

With over 32 years of experience, Victor specialises in helping private, public-listed as well as government-linked companies resolve critical issues which may be time sensitive, and could require the use of rescue mechanisms and insolvency instruments as provided by the law.

Victor is an alumni of Chung Ling High School in Penang. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is a Certified Practising Accountant of CPA Australia, a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is also a Certified Public Accountant (M) of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and a member of the Insolvency Practice Committee of MICPA as well as the Vice President of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Malaysia (IPAM).

As a proud father of two children, Victor appreciates spending time travelling with family, exploring new cultures and delicacies. Victor has a keen eye for fashion and is also an avid football fan of Liverpool FC.
