Maryam Alhareb is a manager in the assurance line of service. Her journey started in 2018 when she joined the graduate program. In the five years since joining, Maryam has been part of engagements on governmental and private clients in sectors such as real estate, retail, and energy. She has been an essential part of audits of large and iconic clients.

Maryam was picked to take part in the Short Term Exchange Program (STEP). She completed a three month secondment in PwC UK - Southampton office, she worked alongside UK teams on audits of various clients.

As part of her upskilling journey in PwC, she became a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and has been awarded certificates for achieving the highest exam grades in the UAE and MENA. Maryam continued her upskilling journey by becoming a digital accelerator and using her newly acquired skills in Alteryx and Power BI to drive efficiency and insights in her audit engagements.

Maryam has contributed to PwC through her involvement in councils such as the People Council, Youth Council and NextGen Forum. As part of the people council Maryam works towards engaging with her colleagues on improving the work lives of PwC employees.

Maryam was also picked to represent the PwC middle east firm as part of the NextGen forum.

The forum represents a group of PwC colleagues from Associate to Manager levels across 21 territories and all lines of service. Regular meetings are held to discuss topics such as PwC’s global strategies, performance and promotion process, global I&D strategy and others.

Maryam is also passionate about her involvement in the PwC ME Youth Council.
