Monitoring procedure for AEO companies has been implemented

Monitoring procedure for authorised economic operators (AEO) has been implemented since 7 July 2021
On 7 July the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the Resolution №689 "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dd. 29 July 2020 № 665", which regulates the monitoring procedure on the company's compliance to AEO criteria.
Let us kindly remind you that the monitoring procedure is a set of measures carried out by the customs authorities when the Company got its AEO status and is aimed at systematic control of the company's compliance to the AEO criteria. This meets the established world practice and is intended to ensure active interaction between the AEO and the customs authority.
The Resolution prescribes that the control by visiting the company’s premises and facilities is carried out not more frequently than one time per calendar year, and without visiting - quarterly. The visit schedule is previously agreed with the company's chief executive.
