Building connections at the 2025 NextGen Club in Kuching, Sarawak
Our first event in East Malaysia with next-generation family business leaders—a gathering that underscored the strength and legacy of Malaysia’s family businesses. During the event, we explored pivotal topics through three dynamic segments:
- Strategic dealmaking: private equity and family office strategies serve as powerful catalysts for growth, particularly for Sarawak’s emerging sectors
- Navigating energy transition: an expert discussion about strategies to align family business investments with Sarawak’s ambitious plans for sustainable energy

Morning Bytes: Unleashing the power of digital tools for your business
In line with our broader objectives to amplify digitally enabled Owner's Agenda conversations with our entrepreneurial and private business clients, the showcase event focused on how digital capabilities—like GenAI—and platforms can support business growth, resilience, and transformation. The event also demonstrated the practical use of PwC digital assets, tools, and Marketplace‑enabled solutions in various business contexts.
Launch of NextGen Women Leaders’ Club
We established the NextGen Women Leaders’ Club to connect women leading Malaysia’s family businesses and to create a platform for mutual support and learning. In a fireside chat with the inaugural cohort, Dato’ Choi Wei Yee, Founder of TDOX Asia, shared candid perspectives on navigating the entrepreneurial landscape as a woman.
