We are committed to supporting and cultivating high-calibre Malaysian graduates that can meet the demands of tomorrow.  

The Impact Talent Scholarship programme is designed to empower local undergraduates by providing financial support, structured development, and early career exposure. We aim to help scholars build critical skills, strengthen leadership values, and step confidently into their future careers. 

What we’re looking for in our scholars

We look to sponsor youths who aspire to pursue higher education in the following fields of study:

Accounting, accounting and finance, accounting and information systems, or equivalent

Computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, data analytics, or equivalent

Eligibility

  • Malaysian citizen, aged 18 to 25 years at the time of application.  
  • Single monthly income below RM6,000 or monthly household income below RM10,000. 
  • Currently enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate programme at a recognised higher learning institution in Malaysia, at any stage of the academic semester. 
  • Not receiving any other scholarships or equivalents. 
  • Preference for fields such as accounting, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, data analytics, or equivalent. 
  • Applications are open to students from both public and private universities based in Malaysia. 
  • Demonstrates strong academic performance,* with one of the following entry qualifications:  
    • SPM: Minimum 8A’s, including core subjects (English, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics) with no failing grades (E or G)  
    • IGCSE/O-level: Equivalent strong results 
    • STPM/A-level/foundation/matriculation: Consistent academic excellence with minimum of 3.5 CGPA or AAA and above 
  • Active involvement in extracurricular activities, community initiatives, or leadership roles is an added advantage 
  • Exhibits an open mindset, strong leadership potential, willingness to take on challenges, and a clear commitment to continuous learning and growth 

* MUET Band 4.0 or IELTS 6.5 and above, will also be taken into consideration.

Step 1

Apply through Workday and ensure all required documents are completed and uploaded accurately.

Step 2

Go through a digital screening

                                                       
If your application is shortlisted, we will be in touch with you for a brief digital screening. This allows us to learn more about your interests and aspirations.

Step 3

Attend a final interview

                                                       
Candidates who progress from the digital screening will be invited to an interview with PwC leaders.

Step 4

Get your results

                                                       
Successful candidates will be notified on their acceptance into the scholarship programme.

Step 5

Celebrate your achievement

                                                       
Awarded scholars will be invited to an officiation ceremony to celebrate their achievement.

Frequently asked questions 

The Impact Talent Scholarship programme is an initiative that supports Malaysian students in pursuing their undergraduate studies. The programme offers students financial support, hands-on learning experiences, and opportunities to build meaningful professional networks while studying. We aim to develop future talents who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and commitment to personal and professional growth.

You may submit your application through the Workday application link. Please ensure that all required documents are prepared, completed, and uploaded accurately before submission.

After you submit your application, you can expect the following steps:

Assessments 
Within 12 hours of your application submission, you will receive an email containing:

  • An essay assessment

  • Psychometric assessment (logical, numerical, reasoning, and English proficiency)

Please ensure all assessments are completed within 72 hours of receipt. As the process is time-sensitive, we are unable to consider requests submitted after the deadline.

Digital Screening 
If your application is shortlisted, we will contact you to schedule a brief digital screening. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your interests, motivations, and aspirations.

Interview with PwC Leaders 
Candidates who successfully progress from the digital screening will be invited to attend an in-person interview session with PwC leaders.

Outcome Notification 
Successful applicants will be formally notified of their acceptance into the scholarship programme.

Officiation Ceremony 
Awarded scholars will be invited to an officiation ceremony to celebrate their achievement.

You will need to provide:

  • Your latest academic transcripts (first year university results, SPM, IGCSE/O-level, STPM, A-level, foundation, matriculation)

  • Household income documents (e.g. income statements)

  • Malaysian identity card (MyKad)

  • Offer letter or proof of university enrollment 

  • Co-curricular certificates or achievements (if any)

  • Any other supporting documents requested in the application form

The application deadline will be on 11 May 2026. Please note that applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Applicants who are currently holding another scholarship may apply, provided they are able to withdraw from that scholarship prior to accepting a scholarship placement with us. 

The panel interview session will be conducted in-person, as part of our selection and evaluation process. Shortlisted candidates will be informed in advance to ensure they have sufficient time to prepare for the interview and make any necessary travel arrangements.

Upon accepting employment with PwC in Malaysia, scholars are required to serve a four‑year bond, effective from the date of employment. This is subject to applicable terms and conditions.
